DEM of a cluster of domes in Mare Undarum

This figure shows a DEM of three of the five domes in Mare Undarum. The vertical axis is ten times exaggerated. The telescopic CCD image on top was acquired by P. Lazzarotti on November 07, 2006, at 01:36 UT using a 315 mm Newtonian reflector and a Lumenera Infinity 2-1M CCD camera. Here, a version of the image rectified to perpendicular view with the LTVT software is shown. The DEM indicates that Condorcet 2 and 3 are similar to effusive domes of intermediate flank slope between 1° and 2° like those situated in the Hortensius/Milichius/T. Mayer region, while Condorcet 4 has an exceptionally steep flank slope of 2.8° and a large volume.
